The financing was used to acquire equipment for and make facility improvements to the Surgery Center of Anchorage. The ASC is owned and operated by Regent and 18 area physicians. The opening of the outpatient surgery center was announced in Dec. 2010.

“Regent has worked successfully with members of the Siemens team on a number of debt financings over the past five years,” said Michael Karnes, CFO of Regent Surgical Health, in the release. “Their ability to underwrite both de novo and turnaround situations, to assess the potential for a variety of facilities and to craft creative financing structures makes them good colleagues with whom to do business.”
