Sacramento, Calif.-based UC Davis Health has begun offering pediatric gastroenterology services at its Folsom (Calif.) Turn Pike Specialty Care Clinic.

According to a July 10 news release the clinic provides consultations for infants, children and adolescents with conditions including celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, gastrointestinal allergies and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.

“We are thrilled to expand access to pediatric gastroenterology services into the Folsom community and surrounding areas,” said Dr. Daphne Say, division chief of pediatric GI at UC Davis Health. “Our goal is to ensure that our region’s children are among the healthiest in the nation,” Dr. Say said.

The Folsom expansion adds to pediatric GI services already available at UC Davis Health’s Glassrock Clinic in Sacramento.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
