Altamonte Springs, Fla.-AdventHealth Medical Group opened a new cardiology clinic in Cartersville, Ga., expanding access to heart care for patients in Bartow County and surrounding communities, Coosa Valley News reported July 8.
Rachel Harris, MD, a board-certified cardiologist specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease, will lead care at the new site. Dr. Harris will continue seeing patients at her primary practice in Rome, Ga., while also treating patients in Cartersville.
The location adds to AdventHealth’s network of cardiovascular specialists in northwest Georgia. It follows AdventHealth Medical Group’s acquisition of a family medicine practice at the same Cartersville address in November 2025.
