Rapid City, S.D.-based Monument Health will lease the Gillette, Wyo., clinic and equipment formerly operated by Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic, the health system announced July 1 in a news release shared with Becker’s.
Monument Health will run the space as a multi-specialty clinic and employ providers and staff following Hoskinson’s decision to cease operations. The two organizations are coordinating the transition to limit disruption to existing patients, and a finalized provider roster will be released once details are confirmed.
“From the beginning, our goal was to bring Mayo Clinic-level care to the people of Gillette,” the Hoskinson family said. “This transition to a Mayo Clinic Care Network member means that vision is now a reality.”
The Gillette clinic currently employs 15 physicians and a full support staff. As a Mayo Clinic Care Network member, Monument Health providers gain direct access to Mayo Clinic expertise and resources, a benefit that will now extend to Gillette patients.

Patients are encouraged to continue scheduling appointments as normal while an official opening date is finalized.
Monument Health operates five hospitals and more than 40 clinics and specialty centers across 31 specialties in western South Dakota and eastern Wyoming, with more than 6,300 physicians and caregivers systemwide.
