U.S. Vision, an optical retailer with about 250 locations across the country, is immediately ceasing operations, according to a June 15 report from Vision Monday.
The company is closing all of its optical centers, including freestanding locations and those located in department stores.
U.S. Vision was acquired by Lincoln Road Advisors, an investment company, in March 2021.
In 2023, U.S. Vision Partners reported $75.6 million in revenue, which dropped to $60.1 million in 2024.
Boscov’s, a department store chain, will be taking over operations of all of the U.S. Vision locations inside of Boscov stores.
About 95 U.S. Vision employees were affected by the closures, the report said.
“All retail operations have ceased, and the company is in a wind-down process,” Eric Bertrand, managing director of Lincoln Road Advisors, told the publication. “All relationships are ceasing to exist, and we won’t have any operating business going forward. All outstanding orders are being worked on and shipped out direct to the customer.”
