Exeter (N.H.) Hospital has raised more than $1.275 million this year to support the expansion of cardiac services, including a new cardiac catheterization lab and advanced imaging equipment.
The fundraising milestone was announced during the hospital’s Celebration of Excellence Gala, which drew more than 200 community members, clinicians, leaders and supporters, according to a June 4 news release.
Hospital President Debra Cresta also announced a major gift from longtime supporter Jeanne Falzone to support the cardiac expansion project. In recognition of the donation, the hospital said its Center for Cardiac Care will be named in her honor.
The planned investments will expand access to cardiology services and advanced cardiac care for patients across the region. During the gala, clinicians also highlighted growing community healthcare needs, including rising demand for pediatric behavioral health services and continued advancements in cardiology care.
