The new surgery center, which will be called the Orthopedic Surgery Center of Raleigh and have four operating rooms, will be located near the Rex Hospital campus in Raleigh.
“Our new outpatient orthopedic surgery center will combine Rex’s high surgical standards with some of this area’s finest and most skilled orthopedic surgeons to provide our patients with top orthopedic care,” said David Strong, president of Rex Healthcare, according to the news release. “We are glad the state has approved this partnership.”
The surgery center is estimated to cost $6.5 million, according to a report from NBC17.
