Linwood, N.J.-based Connolly Dermatology offices across New Jersey, the Philadelphia area and Delaware have shuttered after employees say the practice stopped paying its staff, NBC Philadelphia reported May 28.
Workers at many of the practice’s more than 30 locations stopped showing up after paychecks stopped following April 29, according to the publication. Employees said they were notified May 19 that they had been furloughed for 60 days, with a company letter citing severe financial constraints.
The New Jersey Department of Labor confirmed to the publication it is investigating the matter.
