Wilmington (N.C.) Health has broken ground on a 64,000-square-foot medical office building in Wilmington, N.C., according to an April 22 report from Wilmington Biz.
Midtown II will provide services including radiology, orthopedics, urology and vascular care.
The new center is intended to enhance, not replace, Wilmington Health’s existing facility at the site.
The project is expected to be completed in about 15 months.
The health system purchased the land for $5.2 million from Cameron Properties Land Company, the report said.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
