Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health has broken ground on a new medical office building in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
The 127,033-square-foot facility will expand access to specialty and outpatient services, including cardiovascular, neuroscience and orthopedic care, according to an April 24 news release from Broward Health.
The center will have 75 exam rooms when it first opens, with the ability to expand to 123 rooms as demand increases.
The six-story building, expected to open in 2027, is one of Broward Health’s first major new construction projects in nearly 30 years.
Remedy Medical Properties, a national outpatient medical real estate owner, is collaborating with the health system on the facility, the release said.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
