Two Outpatient Surgery Centers in Florida Adopt Standard Uniform for Infection Prevention

Two facilities in Florida — Jupiter (Fla.) Outpatient Surgery Center and Northpoint Surgery and Laser Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. — have adopted Vestex uniforms to provide effective and comfortable fluid barrier protection for employees, according to a Vestagen news release.

Vestex apparel, developed by Orlando-based Vestagen Technical Textiles, uses exclusively licensed, patented technology to repel blood and bodily fluids and contains an antimicrobial that protects the fabric from degradation due to microorganisms.
