Iowa Surgeon to Pay $5K to Settle Negligent Care Allegations

A general surgeon from Iowa has agreed to pay $5,000 to settle accusations that his care led to six patient deaths, though he has not admitted to any wrongdoing in the complaint against him, according to a Des Moines Register news report.
