According to the complaint, a 23-year-old patient was undergoing surgery for teeth removal in 2008 when Dr. Wong allegedly used an LMA airway device instead of an endotracheal tube. Due to the insertion of the wrong device, the complaint states, the patient did not have an open airway for 11 minutes, according to the news report.
