Brentwood, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners is one of the largest players in the ASC space, with a network of more than 200 centers across 33 states. 

In the past few years, the company has committed significant capital to acquiring new facilities and building de novo centers.

2025

  • Surgery Partners recruited about 700 physicians in 2025 and opened eight de novos in 2025. 
  • The company recorded $3.3 billion in revenue and $526 million in adjusted EBITDA.
  • In 2025, the company doubled down on high-acuity outpatient growth and recycled capital out of heavier hospital assets into de novos and physician-aligned platforms.
  • The company focused on its independence after deciding not to proceed with Bain Capital’s proposed acquisition.

2024

  • Surgery Partners opened eight de novo facilities in 2024, with 12 facilities in various stages, and expects to have at least 10 de novos in development or under construction annually.

2023

  • Surgery Partners completed $225 million in acquisitions across 16 deals in 2023.
  • The company affirmed its 2023 adjusted earnings were between $436 million and $440 million.
