The Surgery Center of Greater Nashua (N.H.) has become the first ASC in the U.S. to receive a new type of accreditation from Det Norske Veritas, according to a March 31 news release.

The center, part of Southern New Hampshire Health, earned the DNV designation, which recognizes ASCs that meet evidence-based standards for patient safety, quality of care and continuous performance improvement.

The center offers outpatient procedures across a range of specialties including gynecology, orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry, sports medicine and endoscopy.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
