Where is healthcare the most affordable?

A new article in the Business Cheat Sheet examined just that, taking into consideration healthcare costs, as well as livability and income data. The publication found the cheapest cities for healthcare were:

1. Iowa City, where the average household income is $41,410 and cost of a new patient office visit is $76.

2. Morgantown, W.Va., where the average household income is $29,328 and cost of a new patient office visit is $75.

3. Mankato, Minn., where the average household income is $41,171 and cost of a new patient office visit is $82.

4. Portland, Maine, where the average household income is $44,458 and cost of a new patient office visit is $84.

5. Hartford, Conn., where the average household income is $29,430 and cost of a new patient office visit is $90.
