San Francisco-based Blue Shield of California, Visalia, Calif.-based Family Health Network and Chicago-based Health Care Service Corp. selected Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Oracle Cloud Applications to digitize their financial, planning and budgeting systems.
Here's what you should know.
1. Oracle Cloud is going to increase visibility and insights into the payer's financial operations while allowing cloud server access from any connected computer.
2. Blue Shield of California adopted Oracle's ERP Cloud to streamline its application interfaces and reports.
The company's Vice President of Shared Services Michael Sheils said, "When we looked at transforming our technology, we observed our competitors moving to the cloud, and for good reason."
3. Family Health Network cited improved financial efficiency as its primary reason to move to the cloud.
