Pennsylvania’s St. Mary’s Medical Center Pays $3.3M to Settle Improper Billing Claims

St. Mary’s Medical Center  in Langhorne, Pa., has agreed to pay the United States $3.28 million to resolve claims the hospital improperly billed Medicare for inpatient admissions between Oct. 2001 and Sept. 2007, according to a news release by the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

The hospital voluntarily reported its improper billing to the government.
