SCA's Walker Badham Named to Young Supporters Board of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center
Walker Badham, development analyst at Surgical Care Affiliates, has been named secretary of the Young Supporters Board of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Comprehensive Cancer Center for 2011-12, according to a UAB News report.
The Young Supporters Board comprises young professionals ages 22-35, all of whom have been touched by cancer. It hosts projects and fundraisers throughout the year, with proceeds going to support research of young scientists at the Cancer Center.
The board also provides services and activities for patients in the center's inpatient and outpatient units.
