PDI Redesigns Hygea Flushable Personal Cleansing Cloths
PDI, a provider of infection prevention products for environmental hygiene, skin antisepsis, hand hygiene and patient care, has announced it has redesigned its Hygea Flushable Personal Cleansing Cloths, according to a PDI news release.
The redesign is intended to make the product safer for the environment and more user-friendly for healthcare workers and patients.
The primary improvement is a new dispersible cloth technology, called Ecosperse, that easily breaks apart after flushing.
An additional improvement is a tissue-like dispensing technology that is intended to provide easier access to individual wipes with the intent of helping prevent cross contamination.
