North Shore-LIJ Health System in NY Selects ProVation Order Sets

Wolters Kluwer Health has announced North Shore-LIJ Health System, the second-largest, nonprofit, secular healthcare system in the nation, has selected ProVation Order Sets as the health system's electronic order set solution, according to a Wolters Kluwer Health news release (pdf).

ProVation Order Sets, which is powered by the company's UpToDate Decision Support, is a customizable order set authoring and management solution that provides integration into clinical processes to help in the delivery of standardized care, according to a news release.

North Shore-LIJ Health System provides care to patients throughout Long Island, Queens, Manhattan and Staten Island, N.Y., a service area encompassing more than 7 million people.

"North Shore-LIJ has achieved national recognition for the quality of care it provides to a large and diverse patient base," said Arvind Subramanian, president and CEO, Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions, in the release.
