Medline Offers New PerfecTemp OR Table Pad

Now available from Medline is the company's new PerfecTemp OR table pad, according to the company.

The pad is designed to help meet SCIP-Inf-10, which includes the requirement of organizations to perform proper temperature management that includes the use of devices that help keep the patient's temperature in the normal range to help combat hypothermia and reduces the risk of pressure ulcers.

Features of the PerfecTemp warming system include the following, according to Medline:

• Provides the ability to monitor the temperature delivered to the patient at the point of contact between the pad and the patient's skin.
• Constructed with materials designed to reduce the risk of pressure ulcer formation.
• Reusable, with a five year life expectancy.
