Medicanix Announces Availability of Medi-Products Emergency Backup Power System

Medicanix has announced the availability of the new Medi-Products SILENT SENTRY Emergency Backup Power System for use in ambulatory and office-based surgery centers, according to a Medicanix news release (pdf).

 

The battery-operated system features a 14-inch body and mounts on or between wall studs. It is designed to support surgical equipment, lighting and alarm systems.

 

The SILENT SENTRY can be ordered as a standalone system or hardwired system. Other features include built-in branch circuit breakers, instant activation and automatic recharge, and it is designed to meet accreditation standards requiring backup power in operating rooms, according to the release.
