Cardinal Health Launches Smart-Seal Surgical Mask

Cardinal Health has announced the availability of its new Smart-Seal surgical mask, according to a Cardinal news release.

The new surgical mask is intended to create a custom seal around the wearer's nose and mouth and help reduce fog on eyewear.

The mask is Cardinal's latest addition to its facial protection portfolio. Its features include a single-tie design, fog-reducing vapor barrier and chamber with two rows of sonic bonds intended to help keep the mask filter away from the wearer's face.

"We developed the Smart-Seal surgical mask in direct response to customer indications that fogging was a problem," said Lisa Ashby, president, category management at Cardinal Health, in the release. "The Smart-Seal\ mask offers the next evolution in surgical mask protection, addressing not only fog and fit, but also providing the highest level of filtration and fluid resistance."
