Amerinet Signs New Agreements With Ansell, Siemens

Amerinet, a leading healthcare group purchasing organization, has announced new agreements with Ansell Healthcare for exam gloves and Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics for blood gas testing systems and service, according to an Amerinet news release.

Amerinet Choice, the private-label and sourcing company of Amerinet has entered into an agreement with Ansell, effective Jan. 1, 2010-Dec. 31, 2012. The contract will offer Amerinet members access to Ansell's line of latex, nitrile and vinyl exam gloves and general purpose gloves, according to the release.

Amerinet has also entered into a three-year agreement with Siemens for blood gas analyzers, data management and service plans. The contract, effective Jan. 1, 2010, offers significant benefits to Amerinet members when purchasing the Siemens RAPIDSystems family of blood gas instruments and the RAPIDComm Data Management and Connectivity Software for point-of-care testing operations, according to the release.
