Access MediQuip Names Jonathan Buffa Executive Vice President of Client Services

Mr. Buffa is responsible for working to meet the needs of Access MediQuip's clients, specifically healthcare payors across the country, according to a news release. He will oversee a team responsible for the implementation of new clients, expanding programs and working to improve existing ones.

"Jon was part of my team at Magellan and I know firsthand the kind of dedication and results he brings to meeting client needs, as well a positive team attitude and a strong business acumen all of which will further strengthen our organization," said Prakash Patel, MD, Access MediQuip's CEO, in the release. "He's a great addition to our senior management team."

Prior to joining Access MediQuip, Mr. Buffa served as vice president of network account management and product development for National Imaging Associates, which is owned by Magellan Health Services. He has also served as an executive at CareCore National, a specialty management company, and as director of vendor management at Oxford Health Plans.
