Picketers at Florida Pain Clinic Claim Death From Overdose
Protesters have been picketing a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., pain clinic, claiming it is a pill mill that is responsible for the death of a 57-year-old nurse from a prescription drug overdose, according to a report by the Sun Sentinel.
Sisters of Toni Crimi, the deceased nurse, said she had suffered from a back injury for about 10 years and "drugs took over her life."
Police, however, reported there had been no narcotics complaints against the clinic, which was not named in the article.
