University of Alabama at Birmingham Wins $100,000 Grant From RPB

Research to Prevent Blindness awarded the University of Alabama at Birmingham a $100,000 grant to aid research in treatment, prevention and causes of blindness, according to a UAB News report.

RPB was founded in 1960 and has been granting millions of dollars to medical institutes involved in the study of blindness. RPB has awarded the UAB School of Medicine a total of $3,745,000 in grants.
