TX's William Beaumont Army Medical Center Opens Eye Surgery Clinic

William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Fort Bliss, Texas, has opened its own Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Clinic, according to a news release.

WBAMC's clinic, which will not be fully operational until later this fall, is one of a dozen Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Programs offered to Army personnel throughout the country.

The clinic is equipped with a WaveFront system that personalizes the advance CustomVue for each patient according to the unique characteristics of his or her eyes. Equipment in the new clinic is used for both photorefractive keratectomy and LASIK surgery procedures.
