Aerie Pharmaceuticals has named David Epstein, MD, a board-certified ophthalmologist, as chairman of the company's scientific advisory board.
Dr. Epstein is a co-founder of Aerie and chairman of Duke University's ophthalmology department.
Aerie has also named Vicente Anido, Jr., PhD, an ophthalmology industry expert, as its chairman of the board.
