Noah Kaufman, MD, a physician with West Greely Emergency and Surgery Center, has competed in the qualifying round of "American Ninja Warrior," finishing in the top 20, according to a report from the Reporter Herald.
Dr. Kaufman is a physician with Emergency Physicians of the Rockies and also staffs the University of Colorado Health emergency departments at Medical Center of the Rockies and Poudre Valley Hospital.
This is his second year competing in the event, which will air on NBC June 23.
Dr. Kaufman entered "American Ninja Warrior" to spread a message of fitness to his patients and his community. "I want everybody to quit smoking, to get out and be active every day and to eat a healthier diet," he said to the Reporter Herald.
