Washington State Ophthalmologists Partner with OHSU
Lower Columbia Eye Clinic in Longview, Wash., entered into a partnership with Oregon Health & Sciences University's Casey Eye Institute in Portland, Ore., on Dec. 30, according to a report in The Daily News.
Ophthalmologists James Hulbert, MD, and Timothy Vrtiska, MD, will continue to see patients in the Longview location, and Casey Eye's Lori Lombardi, MD, will begin to see patients at the office weekly, according to the report.
Dr. Lombardi and Dr. Vrtiska will perform outpatient surgery at St. John Medical Center. More complicated procedures, such as retinal surgery, will be done at Casey Eye Institute, according to the report.
