Washington (Pa.) Health System shows off new outpatient center

After finishing up their outpatient center in December, Washington (Pa.) Health System officials got the chance to flaunt the building to the public last week during an open house ceremony, the Pittsburgh Business Times reports.

The 50,000-square-foot facility, which includes an outpatient surgery center, includes doctors' offices and a large amount of ambulatory services from pain management to cataract surgery.

The center is located at Meadows Landing in South Strabane Township.

WHS president and CEO Gary Weinstein told the Pittsburgh Business Times that the center symbolizes the future of healthcare as providers move to meet the needs of larger groups of people.

WHS employs more than 2,000 medical professionals throughout three counties across 40 locations in Pennsylvania.
