Penn State Hershey Medical Center and Health System CEO Harold L. Paz, MD, has joined the United Surgical Partners International board of directors.
USPI and Penn State Hershey Health System entered into a partnership in 2011 and jointly own Hershey Outpatient Surgical Center. "I am pleased to join the USPI Board," Dr. Paz said in a news release. "Their commitment to patient safety, quality and operating efficiencies aligns with Penn State Hershey Health System's vision to advance the health of the populations that we serve by providing them with the highest standard of care in the most appropriate setting."
