Surgical Care Affiliates President & CEO Andrew Hayek Among 2014 Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellows

Surgical Care Affiliates President and CEO Andrew Hayek been named to the Aspen Institute's 2014 Class of Henry Crown Fellows.

The Henry Crown Fellowship mobilizes a new breed of leaders, all under the age of 45, to tackle the world's most intractable problems. All are proven entrepreneurs, mostly from the world of business, who have reached a point in their lives where, having achieved success, they are ready to apply their creative talents to building a better society.

Prior to SCA, Mr. Hayek served as the President of a division of DaVita Inc. (a renal dialysis provider) and as President and Chief Operating Officer of Alliance Healthcare Services Inc. (a diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy provider).

He currently serves on the SCA board of directors and board of advisors for Sg2 (a healthcare consulting company).
