The Oregon Ambulatory Surgery Center Association is sponsoring an Emergency Preparedness Summit at Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield, Ore., on Jan. 30.
The summit is designed to prepare ASCs and healthcare facilities to provide critical care during natural disasters. The meeting will also address ways to protect the capital expenditure invested in surgery centers.
Presenters include leaders from the CDC, FEMA, the Oregon Health Authority and a Seattle Times writer.
