New Surgery Center to Open in Kailua, Hawaii

The $5.3 million Windward Surgery Center in Kailua, Hawaii, is scheduled to open on Apr. 14, according to a report in the Pacific Business News.

The surgery center is a partnership between Castle Medical Center and a group of 15 Windward Oahu surgeons and will be housed on Castle Medical’s campus in the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Medical Plaza & Wellness Center.

The new center will have two operating rooms, two endoscopy rooms and recovery and waiting rooms. It will offer services such as same-day surgery, screenings and other procedures in orthopedics, gynecology, urology and podiatry.
