New Jersey outpatient cataract surgery center celebrates 37th year

New Jersey Eye Center celebrated 37 years of outpatient cataract surgery on Tuesday, and was founded in 1972 by Joseph Dello Russo, MD, who was among the first doctors in the Northeast to perform cataract surgery in a fully equipped private surgical center, reports Digital Journal.

"While we have state-of-the-art facilities and technology, it is the dedication and experience of our staff and incredible doctors and surgeons that is the secret to our success. We realize that undergoing an operation may be an uneasy experience for many of our patients.  Therefore, through our values of compassion, attitude, respect, excellence and service we strive to make their visit as pleasant, comfortable and successful as possible. These values drive our organization," says, Catherine Saetta, Chief Executive Officer of New Jersey Eye Center and Dello Russo LaserVision.
