Michael Yeary, Dr. Kimberly Persely appointed to Texas ASC Society board

Michael Yeary and Kimberly Persley, MD, were appointed to the Texas Ambulatory Surgery Center Society's board of directors at the group's annual conference in November, according to the Texas ASC Society.

Both Mr. Yeary and Dr. Persley were appointed to terms lasting three years.
Mr. Yeary serves as vice president of development with United Surgical Partners International and formerly worked for ProMedco Management Company as Chief Restructuring Officer and president.

Dr. Persley, MD, works at the Dallas Endoscopy Center as a gastroenterologist. She graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1993.

Founded in 2003, the Texas ASC Society serves as the surgery center industry's public policy advocate — the group's board assembles representatives from independent centers, industry vendors, management companies, administrators, physicians as well as other organizations.
