Medline Industries announced the launch of the 2013 Pink Glove Dance video competition July 1 in support of breast cancer awareness and prevention.
For the competition, healthcare teams will submit videos of team members dancing with pink exam gloves. The winners, based on the public's vote, will receive a $25,000 donation in their name to the breast cancer charity of their choice. Medline will also donate a portion of the pink glove sales to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help fund mammograms for individuals who cannot afford them, according to the news release.
Submissions for this third annual competition are due Oct. 4 and videos will be posted online for voting Oct. 25. Medline will announce the winners Nov. 15.
