Kansas Orthopedic Group Opens New Medical Facility
Orthopedic Specialists of the Four States has opened its new $8 million replacement facility in Galena, Kan., near the Missouri state line, according to a report in The Joplin Globe.
The 52,000 square-foot medical building includes offices, examination rooms, a surgery center, MRI services, an aquatic therapy pool and a physical therapy gym, according to the report. The new Ortho Four States building will also feature electronic medical records, including digital x-rays and MRIs.
Joe Caputo, the chief administrative officer of Ortho Four States, said in the report that physicians will begin seeing patients this month, but some equipment may not be installed in the new facility until March. The facility also allows the group the capacity to add more physicians.
