Infection Control Device to Know: Kangaroo Transport Pad
The Kangaroo Transport Pad from Cygnus Medical is designed to prevent cross contamination of the work area as well as keep patients and staff safe. The pad includes an inner absorbent layer that holds fluids, which is also a barrier to bloodborne pathogens, microorganisms and particulate matter.
When you are finished, the Kangaroo Pad converts from a table cover to a soiled scope containment bag by pulling up on the drawstrings. The bag is abrasion resistant under both wet and dry conditions and all materials are latex free.
