The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council, an independent, third-party inspection organization for healthcare laundry facilities, has awarded the Central Florida branch of ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists HLAC Accreditation, according to an ImageFIRST news release.
This accreditation assures customers that ImageFIRST Central Florida is meeting or exceeding the industry’s highest standards for processing healthcare textiles, including strict adherence to federal guidelines. HLAC's accreditation process ensures healthcare laundering services follow OSHA’S bloodborne pathogens standard, properly trains all personnel who handle healthcare textiles and follows recommended "good industry practices" in its systems, policies and procedures, among other requirements.
