Community Surgery Center North 1st to Use ISO-Gard Mask for Clean Air

Community Surgery Center North, part of Community Health Network in Indianapolis, will be the first facility to use the ISO-Gard Mask with CleanAir Technology.

The mask is designed to help reduce hazardous waste anesthetic gas within the nurse's breathing zone and minimize the impact of low level exposure of WAG in the post anesthesia care unit. Community Surgery Center North was the primary site for the ISO-Gard Mask demonstrations and now will be the first to incorporate it into daily protocol.

Teleflex developed the technology in partnership with clinicians. The CleanAir Technology simultaneously delivers oxygen to patients and scavenges their exhalation to help limit exposure.
