Becker's ASC Annual Meeting 2014 — 3 Key Sessions

The Becker's ASC 21st Annual Meeting – The Business and Operations of ASCs will take place Oct. 23 to 25 in Chicago bringing together ambulatory surgery center administrators, physicians and thought leaders.

Here are three key sessions to see:

1. Key Thoughts on Keeping ASC Owners Engaged — This session will cover how ASC leaders can keep physicians engaged. The panel session includes expertise from:

•    Gary Richberg, RN, CMPE, CASC, administrator of Pacific Rim Outpatient Surgery Center
•    Thomas Bombardier, MD, FACS, founding principle of Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America
•    Larry Taylor, president and CEO of Practice Partners in Healthcare
•    Margaret Adams, CASC, administrator of Riddle Surgery Center

2. HR Issues – Management Techniques for Top Production, Doing More With Less Staff — This panel session will cover big human resources and staffing issues for ASCs, especially with changes in healthcare going forward. The panel will include expertise from:
