As Congressional members return to their districts this week, ASCA is encouraging ASC owners and operators to ask their congressional representatives to cosponsor the ASC Quality & Access Act of 2013 (H.R. 2500/S. 1137).
The legislation would move the ASC reimbursement update factor from the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers to the hospital market basket and create a value-based purchasing program for ASCs, among other things.
