9 statistics on medical supply & device price variation

Do medical supply and implantable device costs remain stable or exhibit high levels of change? Here are nine statistics in the level of annual change that ambulatory surgery centers companies have observed in costs, according to the HealthCare Appraisers 2014 ASC Valuation Survey.

•    Less than 0.9 percent change: 4 percent
•    Plus 1 percent to 1.9 percent change: 8 percent
•    Plus 2 percent to 2.9 percent change: 46 percent
•    Plus 3 percent to 3.9 percent change: 29 percent
•    Plus 4 percent to 4.9 percent change: 4 percent
•    Plus 5 percent to 5.9 percent change: 4 percent
•    Plus 6 percent to 6.9 percent change: 0 percent
•    Plus 7 percent to 7.9 percent change: 0 percent
•    Plus 8 percent or more change: 4 percent
