Medical Facilities Corporation announces 4Q, year-end financial results
MFC consolidated facility service revenue of $311.8 million for 2014, a 0.9 percent increase from $309.2 million in 2013 and consolidated facility service revenue for the fourth quarter of 2014 was down 2.2 percent from $89.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2013 to $87.6 million. Children's Health, Dr. James Andrews partner on sports medicine clinic, ASC
Children's Health System of Texas in Dallas has partnered with James Andrews, MD, to establish an orthopedic and sports medicine clinic for student athletes and build an ambulatory surgery center in Plano, Texas, according to a report by The Dallas Morning News.

HHS recovers $3.3B in fraudulent billing in 2014
HHS has recovered $3.3 billion in fraudulent healthcare billing for the fiscal year 2014, according to a HealthcareDIVE report. This recovery marks the third highest return since the anti-fraud program was developed, according to the report. More than $27.8 billion has been recovered since 1997.

AGA Center for GI Innovation: "Getting to Zero" meeting for duodenoscope infections
The American Gastroenterological Association Center for GI Innovation held a "Getting to Zero" meeting in regards to infections associated with duodenoscope procedures. The meeting was attended by GI experts, epidemiology and infectious disease experts, as well as representatives from FujiFilm, Pentax, the FDA, CDC and ECRI Institute.
