MEDARVA Stony Point Surgery Center in Richmond, Va., posted the out-of-pocket costs for its top 25 to 30 surgical procedures on its website. Online pricing is available in multiple specialties.
Pennsylvania ASC procedures grow 0.7 percent.
In 2012, the number of procedures performed at ambulatory surgery centers increased 0.7 percent, according to a report in The Central Penn Business Journal. The average operating margin for ASCs increased from 24.9 percent to 25.8 percent, according to the report.
Maryland surgery center seeks to add 23-hour stays.
Massachusetts Avenue Surgery Center in Bethesda, Md., is preparing to add 23-hour stay capabilities. The ASC offers orthopedics, podiatry, urology, gynecology and pain management procedures.

Provident Bank Foundation donates $15k to New Jersey ASC project.
Provident Bank Foundation recently donated $15,000 to support the 4,000-square-foot Trinitas Regional Medical Center ambulatory surgery center in central New Jersey. The ASC is scheduled to open in February.
Physicians Realty Trust acquires Montana surgery center.
Physicians Realty Trust announced the $4 million acquisition of Great Falls (Mont.) Surgery Center. The facility is now signed under a 15-year absolute, net master lease.
