Greymark Healthcare has reported a $25 million in revenue in its third quarter, a 103 percent increase. The increase comes after Greymark's recent acquisition of Foundation Surgical Hospital Affiliates and Foundation Surgery Affiliates. Patient services revenue also increased 148 percent to $13 million.
Medical Facilities Corporation announced its cash pay dividend for November. A cash pay dividend of Cdn$0.09375 per Common Share will be payable on Dec. 16, 2013.
National Bank Financial has increased Medical Facilities Corporation's price target from $15.50 to C$17.00. RBC Capital analysts increased their price target from C$15.00 to C$16.00.
Symbion Healthcare has chosen Medline Industries as its exclusive distribution partner for medical and surgical supplies. The five-year partnership is projected to results in $2 million in savings.
United Surgical Partners International has partnered with Baylor Health Care System and a group of physicians to open the $35 million Baylor Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth in Texas. An estimated 75 percent of the procedures performed at the new facility will be outpatient.
USPI has selected Surgical Notes as the preferred transcription vendor for its surgical facilities. Surgical Notes is a transcription, coding and document management provider serving the ASC and surgical hospital market.
